Art at the Threshold of a New Era.

Within the landscape of contemporary art, works which owe both their creation and artistic characterization to the electronic technologies occupy an increasingly prominent place. This process has recently implicated even the traditional arts: painting (digital), music (electronic) and photography (laser); first and foremost, however, it involves the newly emerging domain of interactive arts. Foreshadowed by happenings and medial installations of the 70s... (etc.)
